Obituary of Vera I. Warner , 93

Vera I. Warner, 93, of Bellefonte, died Thursday, March11, 2010 at Centre Crest Nursing Home in Bellefonte.

She was born July 8, 1916, in Boggs Township Centre County, a daughter of the late Frederick and Bertha Rome Scandrol.

In 1937 she married John T. Warner who preceded her in death February, 20, 1966.

Mrs. Warner worked in housekeeping at the Nittany Lion Inn at Penn State retiring in 1977.

Vera was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Boalsburg. She was a very giving and caring person who always had a positive attitude. One of her favorite pastimes was embroidery.

She is survived by several generations of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded by many other relatives including her niece Evelyn Johnson with whom she had resided for nearly twenty years.

Following her wishes, all services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery at Howard.
