Vera L. Davidson Miller, 89, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 22, 2015. Born on February 23, 1926 in Boggs Township, she was the daughter of the late Harold Sr. and Stella Markle Davidson. On December 14, 1946 she married Donald E. Miller who preceded her in death on February 14, 1991.

She was a 1945 graduate of Bellefonte High School and attended the Pittsburgh Academy of Cosmetology. She was employed by the Bellefonte Match Factory and was a homemaker.

Vera enjoyed spending time with her family, tenting at the Grange Fair, going tubing down the Bald Eagle, going to camp and the pond. She was also an avid sports fan who loved attending sporting events. She was a card player with a young competitive spirit and had so much zest for life.

She was a lifetime member of the Bald Eagle Valley Community Church in Wingate, the Milesburg Women’s Club, the American Legion Post 893 Auxillary, and VFW Post 1600 Ladies Auxillary.

Vera is survived by her two daughters; Dolly (Gary) Brown of Runville, and Debra Veneziano (Paul deceased) of Clarence, and her son, Daniel (Darla) Miller of Zion. Also surviving Vera are her four grandchildren; Troy Brown, Craig Brown, Bobbi Jo Davidson, and Tracy Lavetan and her six great grandchildren; Kody Brown, Elita Brown, Payton and Sydney Hill, K.J. and Jadyn Lavetan.
Also surviving are her two brothers; Paul E. (Mary Jane) Davidson of Runville, and Mahlon Eugene (Tim) Davidson of Runville. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harold Davidson, Jr.

Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg on Friday, November 27, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Ronald Baker officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. Internment will be in New Union Cemetery, Union Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
