Virginia Ann Knable, 75, of State College, formerly of Rock Hill Furnace, died Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the Hearthside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in State College.
She was born September 19, 1935, in Huntingdon, PA; a daughter of the late Wayne and Frances Burris Madden.
Virginia was employed in clerical work with Nationwide Insurance Company in Harrisburg for many years, and later as a clerk in the Altoona Library.
She is survived by a brother Elmer Madden of State College.
At her request there will be no public services.
