Wanda J. Appleton, 39, of Boalsburg passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.
Born in State College on December 3, 1974 she was the daughter of William Appleton, Sr. of Port Matilda and the late Bonnie Rose Laird Appleton. She was of the Methodist faith. Wanda worked at Wegmans and Weis Stores as a cashier. She enjoyed watching WWF wrestling.
Wanda is survived by her son, Joshua Haney of Port Matilda. Also surviving is her brother, William Appleton, Jr. of Julian and two sisters, Beth A. Johnson of State College and Tammy Hannah of Tyrone.
A Memorial Service will be held at Halfmoon Christian Fellowship Church, 1776 Halfmoon Valley Road, Port Matilda, Pa. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Todd Templeton officiating. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Black Oak Cemetery, Worth Twp., Centre Co., Pa.
