Obituary of Willard D. Weber, 79

Willard D. "Pap Pap" Weber, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010, at Hershey Medical Center. Born April 5, 1930, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Pearl Harter Weber. On Feb. 26, 1956, he married Thelma Ann Young, who survives at home.

He was a graduate of the Bellefonte Area High School. Willard retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years of service; he also worked at Penn State University. He was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church.

Along with his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Debra Kaye Smith (Donald), of Bellefonte; a son, Russell C. Weber of Fla.; one brother, Robert Weber, of Potters Mills; two granddaughters, Cherelle Lyn Zeigler (Thomas), of Bellefonte, and Johanna Marie Smith (Jason Stoner), of Bellefonte; and one great grandchild, Hailey Lyn Zeigler, of Bellefonte. Also surviving is his special friend, Thomas Wolf, and faithful companion, Hollywood.

There will be a graveside service held Friday, March 26, 2010, at 1 p.m. at Union Cemetery, in Bellefonte with Reverend Andrew Morgan officiating.
