Obituary of William Condo, 88

William E. Condo, 88 of Lamar passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013 at the Lock Haven Hospital. He was born in Clinton Co., on September 26, 1924, a son of the late Robert F. and Hattie Bower Condo.

On April 21, 1944 he married Anna M. Lamey, who preceded him in death.

William retired as a foreman for Conrail after 38 years of service, and he proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his daughter, Barbara Stringfellow (Donald) of Mill Hall; a son William R. and wife Deb Condo of Howard; his three sisters and one brother. He is also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by two daughters and four of his brothers.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 3, 2013 at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard with the Rev. Russel Moldovan officiating. He will be buried at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Mill Hall.
