atricia P. Courter, 76, of Howard, went to be with her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Monday, February 15, 2021. She was born December 12, 1944 on a farm near Heckman Gap, Lamar, PA. She was the daughter of the late Mark W. and Grace N. Courter. Pat is survived by her four brothers; David M. (Judy) of Lock Haven, Perry C., of Pleasant Gap, Lynn E. (Kathleen) of Phoenix, AZ and Robert J. (Marcia) of Bellefonte and 11 nieces and nephews; Thomas and Joseph Fisher, Perry Jr., Bradley, Bryan, Justin and Mack Courter, Ally Wemette, Michelle Cariveau, Sarah Behrmann, and Tasha Strouse. 


Pat graduated from Lock Haven High School, Class of ‘63. She worked at Sylvania, Corning Glass Works, Brookline Nursing Home and Keystone Central School District. She was an avid bowler and loved watching football, especially her Philadelphia Eagles, and John Wayne movies. 


She was a member of First Baptist Church in Bellefonte and was on the ladies missionary prayer group and sang in the choir. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to the First Baptist Church, 539 Jacksonville Rd., Bellefonte, PA 16823 in memory of Patricia P. Courter. 


A private family viewing will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc. in Milesburg with Pastor Greg Shipe of the First Baptist Church officiating. A celebration of life memorial service open to all will be held on May 8, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Bellefonte, PA. Pat will be laid to rest in Hays-Fearon-Bossert Cemetery in Beech Creek, PA.
