On October 2, 1948, in Lewistown, she married Gregg C. “Sonny” Watson, Jr, who passed away on December 18, 2020.

Pearl was a 1945 graduate of Cooper Twp High School. She was more than a homemaker. She was a care giver to her parents, in laws, and many aunts. Pearl enjoyed cooking and baking traditional Slovak food, her flower gardens, and watching the humming birds. She loved to decorate her home for every season. She and Gregg enjoyed entertaining in their home, especially their close friends. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family. Her face would light up when the grandchildren and great grandchildren would stop in just to say hello.

Pearl is survived by her son, Randall G. Watson of Shawville, one daughter, Cheryl A. Viehdorfer and her husband, Randy, of Moshannon, four grandchildren: Cristi Viehdorfer Crestani and her husband, James, LeAnn Viehdorfer Repasky and her husband, Gary, Ryan Watson, and Amanda Watson. She is also survived by four great grandchildren: Kayla and Jake Crestani and Raelee and Lauren Repasky.

Along with her parents and husband, Pearl was preceded in death by two sisters: Mary Lou Kovash and Josephine Young.

There will be a public visitation on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 10-12noon at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Show. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 12 noon with Pastor Gary Jewart officiating. Pearl will be laid to rest next to Gregg at Askey Cemetery in Snow Shoe Twp.
