Randal E. “Randy” Moore, 63, of Mill Hall, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2021, at his mothers house in Blanchard after a lengthy illness. Born on July 6, 1957, in Lock Haven, he was the son of Lois L. (Walker) Moore of Blanchard and the late Earl R. Moore.
Randy was a 1975 graduate of Lock Haven High School and a 1979 graduate of Millersville University, where he earned a BS in Business Administration. He worked at Lock Haven University in the Financial Business Office, retiring after 26 years of service. He worked many years at the AAA office in South Williamsport as a travel agent, a job he enjoyed thoroughly.
Randy was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ, the Beech Creek/Blanchard Jaycees and a former board member of the Millbrook Playhouse. He had the opportunity to travel while working at AAA, so he took the opportunity to travel the world when he could.
Randy is survived by his mother; one brother, Arlen Moore and his wife, Susan, of Blanchard, two nephews: Jared Moore and his wife, Hollie, of Blanchard and Brian Moore of State College, one great nephew, Elijah Moore and two great nieces, Isabella Moore and Violet Moore. Randy adored his family and treasured all the times spent with them.
Family would like to thank Carrie Yeagle for taking Randy’s 4 dogs, Rocky, Ricky, Lucy, Anja and caring for them as her own and a special thank you to Randy’s mother for all the loving care she gave him during his illness, especially the last couple weeks.
A public viewing will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 5-7pm at the Blanchard Church of Christ church. Funeral service will follow at the church with Pastor Russel Moldovan officiating. Burial will be private at the Blanchard Church of Christ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Randy asked that memorial contributions be sent to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 862, Pittsburgh, PA 15106. Please put Randy Moore, Clinton County on the memo line.
