Richard L. Schenck

Richard L. Schenck, 73, of Mill Hall, passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport. Born on April 5, 1947, in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late H. Laird and Martha (Mapes) Schenck. On August 23, 1975, in Mill Hall, he married Dorothy M. Culvey who survives at home.

Richard was a 1965 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was a farmer all his life.

Richard enjoyed farming, Philadelphia Eagles, Philadelphia Phillies, and Penn State Sports.

Richard is survived by his wife, children: Robb Schenck and his wife, Christy, of New Berlin, Matthew Schenck and his wife, Kali, of Mill Hall, and Julie Krebs and her husband, Adam, of Boalsburg, and seven grandchildren: Olivia, Isabella, Evelyn, Vayda, Ryker Schenck, Daniel and David Krebs.

Also surviving are his four sisters: Susan Dingle, Shirley Herbert, Sandra Conner and her husband, Robert, and Sara Crawford; two brothers: Daniel Schenck and Gary Schenck and his wife, Debra, and 18 nieces and nephews.

Following Richard’s wishes all services will be private. He will be laid to rest at Schenck’s Cemetery in Howard.
