Tammy J. Stimer

Tammy J. Stimer, 58, of rural Bellefonte, passed away at Mount Nittany Medical Center, on Thursday, March 18, 2021. Tammy was born on August 3, 1962 a daughter of Louis and Connie Kramer Fischer of Bellefonte.

Tammy is survived by her husband Timothy R. Schaeffer, her best friend Patricia Bingham, her sisters, Kimberly A. Stimer of Bellefonte, Cindy L. Walk of Pleasant Gap; her step-brother, Frank L. Stimer, Jr. of Bellefonte and her step- sister Frankie-Lynn Lucas of Philipsburg. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and great nephews. Tammy was preceded in death by her nephew, Timothy Stimer.

Tammy was the counter clerk at Fisher Auto Parts in Bellefonte. Tammy was of the Methodist faith. She was a 1980 graduate of Bellefonte High School. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, rescuing animals, and working on cars. She was a member of the Undine Fire Co. Growing up she enjoyed snowmobiling, collecting antiques and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.  

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Meyer Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
