Wayne L. Robinson, 82, of rural Julian, formerly of Boggs Twp., passed away at his residence, on Thursday, April 6, 2023. Wayne was born in Philipsburg on February 3, 1941 a son of the late Ira B. and Edith G. Davidson Robinson. In September 1962, he married the former Betty I. Thomas, who survives at home. Also surviving is his son, Michael W. Robinson of rural Julian and his daughter, Bette Ann “Bunny” Robinson of Mount Holly Springs, PA, his 7 grandchildren and his 3 great-grandsons; his sister, Sandra Wesley and her son, David Moore of Pittsburgh. Wayne is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Alan B. “George” Robinson
. Wayne was a veteran having served in the US Army. Wayne was employed at Warner Company, a life time farmer, and he also worked at Wal-Mart. Wayne was of the Methodist faith. He enjoyed bowling, antique tractors, and tractor pulls, and he especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 10, 2023, from 10 A. M. – 12:30 P. M. at The Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 201 Spring St., Milesburg, with the funeral service to follow at 12:30 P. M. with Pastor Michael Fisher, officiating. Burial will be in Zion Union Cemetery, Walker Twp., Centre Co., where military honors will be accorded.
