Penn State Athletics Introduces Nittany Lion Feedback Program

Got thoughts on Penn State sports and the game day experience? You’ll now have your chance to share them.

Penn State Athletics announced the creation of the Nittany Lion Feedback Program Tuesday afternoon, with a goal “to engage and listen to fans about their experiences and thoughts surrounding Penn State’s 31 teams.”

The virtual initiative will include 2,000 total fans who will be asked to participate in online surveys 1-2 times per month throughout the year. The program will run from this March to May 2022, but members of the program may have the opportunity to participate for additional years.

The university has four goals for the program, which are as follows:

  1. Allow for a better “You Said, We Listened” communication format over the long term.
  2. Gain highly representative feedback from all corners of our fan base.
  3. Pilot new ideas, projects or methods prior to implementation.
  4. Focus Athletics’ time and resources on initiatives which matter most to fans.

Fans chosen for the feedback program will receive email invitations in the next week. Athletics is planning for the program to be as representative of the entire fan base as possible, and invitations will be spread across “season ticket holders, students, recent grads, group buyers and more.”
