Penn State Football: Minnesota and Ohio State Games Pace Secondary Market Prices

Penn State football secondary market ticket prices are fairly modest inside of a month away from the Nittany Lions’ season opener against Purdue in West Lafayette and home opener against Ohio just a week later at Beaver Stadium.

So far StubHub lists tickets as low as $30 to see Penn State face the Bobcats to open the home slate and upwards of $175 to watch the Nittany Lions host Ohio State at Beaver Stadium in front of fans for the first time since 2018.

A little surprisingly, Penn State’s home meeting against Minnesota – which falls during Homecoming weekend – is the second-highest home game ticket price of the year with StubHub showing tickets for a minimum of $170, just shy of the season-high mark so far against Ohio State. The meeting against the Gophers is slated to be Penn State’s annual Whiteout game while Penn State will host Ohio State for the annual Stripe Out.

Elsewhere across the schedule tickets to see Penn State host Central Michigan clock in at $30 while games against Michigan State, Maryland and Northwestern range from a starting value fo $43 to $61 for the matchup against Northwestern to start the month of October.

These figures are fairly comparable to the 2022 season that saw inflated prices for the home meeting against Auburn and Michigan. StubHub currently shows – interestingly enough – $175 as the lowest ticket price for the series rematch at Auburn while games against Alabama and Georgia are both selling for over $200.

Across the Big Ten tickets to see Penn State open the Boilermakers’ season are starting at $39 while tickets to see Michigan host the Nittany Lions are currently available for $140.

Like always an ongoing season will see ticket prices rise and fall as the Nittany Lions navigate the ups and downs of the 2022 campaign.
