Penn State Releases Blue-White Game Parking and Fan Fest Details

With the return of the Nittany Lions’ Blue-White spring football game quickly approaching on April 23, Penn State has released some new details about fan events and parking information.

The Boardwalk Fan Fest will make a return this year from 9 a.m. until the game kicks off at 2 p.m. The event will be located on Curtin Road in front of Beaver Stadium and feature carnival games and attractions, including a Ferris wheel and a jumbo slide. Attendees will also get to enjoy face painting, balloon animals and photo booths while they wait to enter the stadium for the game. While supplies last, fans can get their hands on Penn State’s 2022 schedule poster.

The Blue-White Apparel and Equipment Sale will also take place from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. across the street at Pegula Ice Arena. Coordinated by Lion Surplus, the event typically sells official team gear, game-worn uniforms and more.

Parking for the Blue-White game will not follow the standard gameday traffic patterns. Instead, parking will take a general admission approach using lots in and around Beaver Stadium with ADA parking also available.

All parking will utilize the mobile pass system. According to Penn State Athletics, parking passes were already automatically added to the accounts of 2022 season parking pass holders who renewed by Feb. 18. Parking passes can be purchased online or on the day of the game for $20. More details can be found online.

During the week leading up to the spring game, Penn State will host an open house to give fans a chance to purchase season tickets. The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, near the Gate E ticket office at Beaver Stadium. The first 100 fans there will receive a free t-shirt and a chance to take some photos inside the stadium.

The annual Blue-White game kicks off at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, at Beaver Stadium. Admission is free and gates open at 12:30 p.m.
