Penn State wide receiver Allen Robinson is currently running away with the Bilentioff Award fan vote, garnering over 58 percent of the vote in a large field. The next closest contender — Texas A&M wide receiver Mike Evans — is sitting at just 22 percent.
The award, named after Florida State All-American Fred Biletnikoff in the 1960s, is presented to the best receiver in college football. There are currently over 70 eligible receivers being considered for the award. Last year, Robinson was named the Big Ten Receiver of the Year, and he was also named to this year’s preseason All-Big Ten team.
The award is narrowed down to 10 finalists in mid-November and narrowed to three finalists in late November. The winner is announced December 12 on the Home Depot College Football Awards Show.
Let’s keep voting, Penn State!
