According a press release from the department, an unknown black male assaulted a white male on Sept. 18. The assault took place at 1:30 a.m. outside of the Lion’s Den by the corner of South Garner Street and Calder Way.

Patton Township Police Sgt. Tyler Jolley says the call came into the Walmart at about 12:30 p.m. from an anonymous male caller, prompting the evacuation and subsequent search. “There was no indication of any kind of explosive material in the store,” Jolley says.
