C-NET wins 2018 JAG Video awards

STATE COLLEGE — C-NET, Centre County’s government and education access network, received two first-place awards at the JAG Video Awards held in Morristown, N.J., on May 31.

The awards were for the program “2017 Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts” in the category of “Local Events,” and for “Around the County,” hosted by WPSU reporter Anne Danahy. The winning episode of “Around the County” featured Robyn Graboski, of Centre Wildlife Care. 

The “2017 Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts” program was produced by C-NET interns from the Penn State Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications.  “Around the County” is produced by C-NET operations manager Stephanie Yager.

The JAG Video Awards are presented by the Jersey Access Group as part of the Eastern Video Expo. Both programs can be viewed at www.cnet1.org.
