At just 16-years-old, Alexa Cowher has owned and operated Joelle’s Sips and Bites, an Aaronsburg-based food trailer, since June.
Cowher serves everything from acai bowls to coffees, dirty sodas and lemonade. She’s also sold hot dogs and walking tacos.
Now her dream to open her own cafe is already taking shape. She’s planning to open a brick-and-mortar location inside the Millheim Hotel in 2027.
Centre County Report’s Isaac Hallock visited with Cowher to talk about Joelle’s Sips & Bites and her plans for the future.
