A new restaurant offering Korean barbecue and hot pot is now open in State College.
Manna Korean BBQ & Hot Pot opened Tuesday at 542 Westerly Parkway, next to the Weis Markets in the Westerly Parkway Plaza.
The restaurant has an all-you-can-eat concept where diners can choose from grilling meat and seafood in the Korean barbecue style or create their own hot pot soup.
Meals are $24.99 ($7.99 to 11.99 for kids) at lunchtime and $34.99 at dinnertime ($12.99 to 16.99 for kids). For an additional $5, guests can get both the BBQ and hot pot experience.
Manna offers patrons the opportunity to create their meals at every table by including individual burners and a central grill for barbecuing.

Diners who choose the hot pot have a variety of ingredients to pick from including bases like miso soup, spicy Szechaun broth and golden fish maw and chicken broth, and proteins such as crab, pork belly, spam and beef tripe. They can enhance their hot pot experience by choosing from fresh vegetables, noodles and sauces served buffet style.
Those who pick the Korean barbecue can grill on their own or have a server do the grilling for them. Jumbo shrimp, spicy chicken bulgogi, garlic pork belly and beef tongue are among the many options available at Manna.

Appetizers such as gyoza, shrimp tempura and edamame are also included in the price as well as a dessert from the buffet and ice cream.
Manna does not have take out available.
Manna Korean BBQ & Hot Pot is open Sunday through Thursday from noon to 10 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from noon. to 11 p.m.
