BELLEFONTE — Locally owned Verizon retailer Wireless Made Simple was awarded the 2019 National Verizon Dealer of the Year under TCC award recently, according to a press release.

More than 60 ownership groups and 400 stores nationwide were eligible to win.

“We have been building our core team and culture since we opened our first store in Bellefonte in 2004, and this award is a reflection of the great team we have in place and the customer first culture we have been developing” said Eric Bruckner, founder and president of Wireless Made Simple.

“Our servant leadership model has eliminated ‘bosses’ from our company and created a culture of employees helping each other and doing whatever possible to support customers with a vast array of customer solutions and create the best possible Verizon experience, both in store and for our business clients.”

Wireless Made Simple is a locally owned Verizon retailer group with six stores in Central Pennsylvania and the areas only locally based small business trained and Verizon certified support team working from those locations. Wireless Made Simple added two locations in 2019 — Somerset and Youngwood — in addition to exceptional growth in the four existing locations.

Wireless Made Simple is currently in discussions to expand even further in Pennsylvania and possibly other areas as well. Plans include adding or acquiring 10 or more stores in the next two years. Current locations include Bellefonte (original store in 2004), State College (across from the Nittany Mall), Burnham, Johnstown, Somerset and Youngwood.
