A new restaurant offering sushi, Japanese curry, bánh mì, poke bowls, boba tea and more is set to open in the Nittany Mall.
Sushi Yume will hold a grand opening beginning Monday, June 1, in its walk-up space at the southwestern end of the mall near the Happy Valley Casino, according to its website and signs outside of the eatery.
Customers who sign up on the Sushi Yume website can receive 20% off all orders from June 1-7.
The menu includes a variety of sushi and sushi rolls. Nigiri and sashimi offerings including two pieces of salmon, yellowtail, shrimp, scallop, eel, octopus, sea bass, sea bream or tobiko priced from $5.95 to $7.50. Hosomaki choices include salmon, tuna, avocado, cucumber, spicy tuna or spicy salmon and range from $4.50 to $6.50.
It also has a variety of urmaki rolls such as California, eel, spicy or regular tuna, spicy or regular salmon, shrimp tempura and spider from $7.95 to $11.95. Signature rolls, ranging from $14.95 to $16.95, include ebi, king prawn, rainbow, dragon, volcano, firecracker, golden tempura and caterpillar.
“Every roll, every slice, and every plate is thoughtfully crafted to deliver not only freshness but also beauty and balance,” the Sushi Yume website states. “Our chefs combine traditional Japanese techniques with innovative presentations, ensuring each bite is a dream come true.”
Also on the menu is Japanese curry in tofu, chicken or pork, as well as tuna, chicken, salmon and prawn poke bowls.
Bánh mì comes in ham, grilled pork, grilled chicken and grilled beef, while chicken wings are available in six or 10 pieces , with both offered as a combo with fries.
Other options include a variety of starters such as gyoza, yakitori skewers, misoo aubergine, croquettes, tempura and more. Featured desserts are mochi ice cream and matcha cheesecake, with fruit green tea and milk and boba tea also available.
Sushi Yume will be open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
