LEWISBURG — The SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority recently elected officers for 2018.
Executive Committee officers are: John Showers, Union County commissioner, chairman; Dave Park, of Big Heart Pet Brands, vice-chairman; Michael Krentzman, of Joe Krentzman & Son Inc., secretary; Russ Graham, of Centre Concrete, assistant secretary; Scott Harvey, of Lonza Inc., treasurer; John Gummo, of Eastern Resources Inc., assistant treasurer; Dr. John Spychalski, Penn State professor emeritus, chairman of passenger excursions; and Rick Jenkins, of Autoneum North America, chairman of the property management committee.
The JRA Executive Committee consists of officers and committee chairmen. It coordinates with the other committees, reviews finances and communicates with legal counsel.
The Executive Committee chairman appoints members to the Operating Agreement, Property Management, Passenger Excursions and Governance committees.
The SEDA-COG Joint Rail Authority consists of members from Centre, Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Mifflin, Montour, Northumberland and Union counties.
