Sheetz is making holiday travel a little less expensive on Tuesday.
The gas station and convenience store chain is dropping gas prices to $1.776 per gallon in honor of the Fourth of July, according to a news release. The lowered price will begin at 12:01 a.m. Tuesday and will apply to regular, E85 (flex fuel), Unleaded 88, ethanol free (E0), mid-grade and premium fuel grades at all of Sheetz’s more than 675 locations in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
Sheetz has nine stores with gas pumps in Centre County.
The reduced pricing will be in effect all day on July 4 or while promotional gallons last. It will not apply to any diesel fuel.
“Sheetz is a family owned and operated company and we are always looking for ways to assist the communities and customers that we serve,” Travis Sheetz, the company’s president and CEO, said in a news release. “We hope this discount helps our customers keep a little more change in their wallets as they travel to celebrate the 4th of July with friends and family, with an obvious nod to our nation’s birthday.”
