STATE COLLEGE — Hospitality Asset Management Company has announced the completion of an extensive interior renovation of its Super 8 hotel, located at 1663 S. Atherton St. in State College.
The $1.4 million project involved a redesign and renewal of all guest rooms and public areas as part of Super 8 Worldwide’s new “Innov8te” design program. The project began in the fall of 2017.
Highlights of the renovation include new bedding, carpeting, furniture, draperies and wall coverings. Local graphic images are featured throughout the hotel.
“This full renovation has elevated the Super 8 hotel to the top quality standards we strive to provide for our guests,” said Mark Morath, founder and CEO of Hospitality Asset Management. “We are extremely proud of the results and look forward to our guests enjoying the breathtaking renovations.”
The hotel was a recipient of Super 8’s “Pride of Super 8” distinction in 2016. The award is given to Super 8 properties with the highest quality assurance scores out of more than 2,200 locations worldwide.
