BELLEFONTE — Thrivent Financial has been recognized again by the Ethisphere Institute, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as a 2016 World’s Most Ethical Company. Locally, Thrivent is represented by financial consultant Randy Reeder, of Bellefonte.
The World’s Most Ethical Companies designation recognizes organizations that have had an impact on the way business is conducted through fostering a culture of ethics and transparency.
For five years, Thrivent’s commitment to operating with ethical business standards and practices has been highlighted by this honor. This continued recognition ensures long-term value to members, employees, suppliers, regulators and investors. Thrivent is one of only six financial services companies honored this year.

The World’s Most Ethical Company assessment is based upon the Ethisphere Institute’s Ethics Quotient framework, which assesses an organization’s performance. The information collected generates scores in five categories: ethics and compliance program (35 percent), corporate citizenship and responsibility (20 percent), culture of ethics (20 percent), governance (15 percent) and leadership, innovation and reputation (10 percent).
