A decades-long Centre County tradition continued on Monday as the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts unveiled its annual collectible poster.
The free, 24-inch by 36-inch poster features vibrant colors with the iconic festival jester at its center.
“We love this poster so much, we are planning some new exciting merchandise featuring this design at this year’s Festival!” Pamela Snyder Etters, the festival’s executive director, said in a news release. “This is a must-have for any poster collection.”

Saige Sommese, a 2018 graduate of Penn State’s graphic design program, designed the 2024 poster using concepts by her late father, Lanny Sommese, a Penn State professor emeritus of graphic design who created the festival posters for more than 40 years. Saige Sommese collaborated with her father on the festival posters for five years before his passing in 2022.
The poster can be picked up at no charge at the following locations:

The 58th annual Arts Festival kicks off with Children and Youth Day on July 10. It continues July 11-14 with the Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition and a wide variety of entertainment in downtown State College and on Penn State’s University Park campus.
