The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts continued a decades-long Centre County tradition on Tuesday with the unveiling of its annual collectible poster.
The free, 24-inch by 36-inch poster “showcases bold vibrant colors and features some iconic design elements we have grown to love and expect in the Arts Festival poster,” Pamela Snyder Etters, the festival’s executive director, wrote in a news release.
“We love this poster so much; and we know you are going to love it too,” Etters wrote. “This is a must have for any poster collection!”
Saige Sommese, a 2017 graduate of Penn State’s graphic design program, designed the 2025 poster using concepts by her late father, Lanny Sommese, a Penn State professor emeritus of graphic design who created the festival posters for 50 years. Saige Sommese collaborated with her father on the festival posters for five years before his passing in 2022 and has continued to design the annual collectible each year since then.
The poster can be picked up at no charge at the following locations:

The 59th annual Arts Festival kicks off with Children and Youth Day on July 9. It continues July 10-13 with the Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition and a wide variety of entertainment in downtown State College and on Penn State’s University Park campus.
