To say that we are happy to have the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts back for 2022 would be an understatement.

Thanks to the efforts of FestZero — a group of Penn State alumni, current students and concerned citizens, the Borough of State College, Penn State and the Centre County Recycling and Refuse Authority — recycling and organics collection will be readily available throughout the festival grounds.

As you walk the art-filled fairgrounds, look for recycling containers for plastic bottles and metal cans as well as containers for any leftover food/organics you may not finish. Recycling and organics collection containers will be available just about everywhere.

While you attend the Arts Festival this July, please think of where your items should go before just throwing them in the trash.  To assist in making the correct decision, signs will be plentiful and clear.

We are really striving to move toward a zero waste festival, and with your help we WILL get there.
