Comedian John Mulaney will bring his “From Scratch” 2022 tour to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, Sept. 25, the venue announced on Monday.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. show, ranging from $49.50 to $129.50, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday through Ticketmaster. Penn State University Park students can purchase discounted tickets through a presale beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
One of the most acclaimed comedians of the past decade and an Emmy-winning writer, Mulaney has had three lauded stand-up specials: 2012’s “New in Town,” which aired on Comedy Central, and the Netflix exclusives “The Comeback Kid” in 2015 and “Kid Gorgeous” in 2018.
He’s also starred in the Broadway hit “Oh, Hello,” with Nick Kroll, and the Emmy-nominated musical variety special “John Mulaney & The Sack Lunch Bunch” on Neflix.
Formerly a writer for Saturday Night Live who created characters such as Bill Hader’s “Stefon,” Mulaney has since hosted the late-night show five times. He also has written for IFC’s “Documentary Now!” and Netflix’s “Big Mouth,” on which he voices Andrew.
Mulaney is slated to star in the animated and live-action reboot film “Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers” on Disney+ with Andy Samberg.
