The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters will bring their basketball shenanigans back to Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center in 2022, the venue announced on Wednesday.
The show will begin at 7 p.m. on March 1. Tickets are on sale now.
The event comes as a part of the team’s “Spread Game” tour that promotes increased fan participation and interaction. The Harlem Globetrotters are known for their combination of impressive basketball skills with family entertainment, and thanks to this new format, they should be able to fully maximize that potential.
Fan-favorite aspects of the show aren’t going anywhere. Points will still tally up with more-than-three-point shots available, and, following tradition, the team will stick around after the show to meet with fans and sign some autographs.
The team last played at the BJC in early March 2020, one of the last events at the arena before the COVID-19 pandemic curtailed performances for more than a year.
