Centre LGBT+ has announced its call for sponsors for State College Pride 2025.
Since its first edition in 2021, State College Pride has grown each year as it celebrates community and advocates for LGBTQ+ rights. This year’s celebration will be held on June 7, starting with a parade at 10 a.m. to be immediately followed by a festival.
More than 5,000 attendees are expected, and according to Centre LGBTQ+, State College Pride “is a unique opportunity for businesses, organizations and individuals to demonstrate their commitment to inclusivity, equality and support for the LGBT+ community.” It also allows them to engage with and showcase their products and services to a large and diverse audience.
Interested businesses, organizations and individuals can learn more about sponsorship opportunities by visiting centrelgbtplus.org/pride or by contacting Cat Cook at cat@centrelgbtplus.org.
“Centre LGBT+ is incredibly excited for State College Pride 2025 and we aim to foster a sense of belonging, pride and solidarity by bringing Centre County together to celebrate all backgrounds, orientations and identities,” Fermin Almeida, Centre LGBT+ board member, said in a news release.
