The 2025 Kish for the Cure campaign raised a record-breaking grand total of more than $103,000 to support three cancer-fighting nonprofit organizations in central Pennsylvania, Kish Bank announced on Thursday.
Donations were presented to Bob Perks Cancer Assistance Fund, Pennsylvania Pink Zone and American Cancer Society events in Central PA earlier in February at Kish Bank’s North Atherton Financial Center in State College.
Kish for the Cure is Kish’s employee-led fundraising effort supporting local cancer-related nonprofits. With the support of customers, local businesses and the community, the annual campaign has raised more than $728,000 in total for its beneficiaries since it began in 2012.
The Bob Perks Fund, Pink Zone and the American Cancer Society champion the fight against cancer in the Central PA region by funding research, treatment programs at area hospitals and critical financial support for local individuals and families facing cancer.
“On behalf of the Bob Perks Fund, we want to thank Kish Bank for their continued financial support of our mission, helping local cancer patients pay for daily living expenses,”Robin Heim, Bob Perks Fund board president, said,” The Kish community’s ongoing commitment makes a meaningful difference in our ability to serve our seven-county region. Thank you for standing with us and helping make our work possible.”
Tammy Miller, PA Pink Zone board president, added, “We’re honored to call Kish Bank a true partner. The passion of the Kish community lifts up so many Central PA families facing breast cancer, and this record year will help us do even more.”
Tom Chucuddy, senior development manager for the American Cancer Society, also expressed gratitude on behalf of the organization and its mission.
“Cancer touches every family, including ours. With Kish Bank’s record support—and the dedication of volunteers across Central PA—the American Cancer Society can be there with answers, rides, lodging and research that saves lives,” Chucuddy said.”We’re grateful for this partnership and what it makes possible.”
