A new entertainment space and arcade is set to open soon at Centre Region sports facility.
Nittany Valley Sports Centre, 177 Champion Drive in Patton Township, will hold a grand opening for The Clubhouse Family Fun Centre at noon on March 7.
The space will include 70 arcade games as well as virtual reality experiences, including VR Starship, a six-person adventure through space. It will also include room to relax and
nearby café offerings, featuring a new coffee bar and an expanded menu.
While Nittany Vally Sports Centre opened a preliminary version of the arcade with about 16 games in 2025, the new Clubhouse represents a major expansion of its space and offerings, a representative for the facility said.
The Clubhouse is designed to complement The Centre’s year-round sports programming by providing flexible options for activities such as birthday celebrations, team outings, group events and everyday family visits.
“The Clubhouse adds something our families have been asking for,” Michael Lee, general manager of Nittany Valley Sports Centre, said in a statement. “It gives people a reason to stay, connect, and enjoy time together, whether they’re here for a practice, a birthday, or just an easy night out. It fits naturally into how our community already uses the Centre.”
Details about hours, pricing and party options will be announced closer to the opening. The Clubhouse will be open to the public and available for event bookings.
Nittany Valley Sports Centre opened in 2019 and completed a second-phase expansion in 2021. In addition to sports leagues, camps and clinics, the facility has also become a place for birthday parties and a host for regional, non-athletic events.
