Centre County reported 14 new COVID-19 cases on Tuesday to bring its total to 12,321, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Pennsylvania added 2,377 cases, bringing the statewide total to 899,237.
The county also had 183 additional negative test results, increasing its total to 59,565. Across Pennsylvania there were 7,712 new negatives for a total of 3,783,099.
DOH reported no new deaths attributed to the virus among Centre County residents, keeping the county’s total at 206.
With seven new COVID-19 deaths reported statewide on Tuesday, Pennsylvania’s total is now 23,126.
Mount Nittany Medical Center is treating 12 COVID-19 inpatients as of Tuesday morning, 10 fewer than when the hospital last provided an update on Friday. The patients range in age from 54 to 88, according to a hospital spokesperson.
COVID-19 hospitalizations also continue to decline statewide. Across Pennsylvania, 2,356 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, including 491 in intensive care and 271 on ventilators.
An estimated 88% of COVID-19 patients in the state have recovered, per a health department calculation.
A total of 19,426 people in Centre County have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, including 4,615 who are fully covered with both required doses, according to health department data.
Among Pennsylvania’s total cases, 777,177 are confirmed and 122,060 are probable. In Centre County, 11,411 are confirmed and 910 are probable.
