Following Tuesday’s deadline for nomination petitions to appear on the May 20 primary ballots, Centre County’s 2025 municipal elections are coming into focus.
Voters will choose their parties’ nominees for local governing boards, mayors, county offices and district judges, along with school boards.
Here’s a look at who has filed for races in the six Centre Region municipalities, Bellefonte Borough and Benner Township, as well as countywide positions and three magisterial district judgeships, according to information provided by the Centre County Office of Elections.
Objections to nomination petitions can be filed until March 18 and ballot positions will be drawn on March 19. Candidates have until March 26 to withdraw from the primary ballot.
