An outdoor live music series is returning to downtown State College for its fourth summer.
“Live After 5,” hosted by the Downtown State College Improvement District, will kick off on Wednesday, June 26, with the Kevin Briggs Blues Experience performing from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Martin Luther King Jr. Plaza on the 100 block of South Fraser Street.
Concerts will continue every Wednesday through Aug. 28, except for July 10 during the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, when many free live performances can be found throughout downtown.
“We’re thrilled to bring back the Live After 5 concert series this summer,” DSCID Executive Director Lee Anne Jeffries said. “With a diverse lineup of musical talents, we’re excited to celebrate our local artists and the vibrant energy they bring to our town.”
