The Center for the Performing Arts Spotlight Collective will usher in the return of rock to Eisenhower Auditorium with online-viral band The Paradox.

The pop-punk band will make its Penn State debut at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 1.

Tickets are $29 for the general public or $14 for University Park students and are available over the phone at 814-863-0255, in person from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays at Eisenhower Auditorium or online. A $4 fee is applied to online purchases only.

Embracing the return of “indie sleaze” with a fresh take on nostalgic sounds, the four-piece Atlanta-based group band enjoyed viral success on Instagram after recording DIY videos at home and has quickly risen to popularity.

The Paradox has already aligned itself with some of rock’s heavy hitters, including performing in an opening slot for Green Day and collaborating with Blink-182’s Travis Barker on the band’s debut EP, “NSFW,” which was released in September.

The band’s viral popularity led to performances at major festivals, including the When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas and the 2025 Warped Tour in Long Beach, California. In June 2025, they made their Pennsylvania debut with a packed show at PhilaMOCA in Philadelphia. They’re also booked for appearances at this summer’s Bottlerock music fest with headliners Foo Fighters; as well as the Welcome to Rockville festival, in a lineup with My Chemical Romance and Guns N’ Roses.

The current lineup features Dangerfield on lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Donald Bryant on bass, Percy “PC3” Crews on drums, and Christopher “Xelan” Bernard on lead guitar and background vocals.
