Penn Highlands State College will host a fun and educational free women’s health event from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 19.
The hospital at 239 Colonnade Boulevard will offer information about the latest advancements in women’s health, food and beverages and giveaways during the event. All who attend will be entered in a drawing to win one of several popular name-brand purposes.
Space is limited, and advanced registration at phhealthcare.org/healthevent is required.
Physicians from Penn Highlands State College will provide insights and answer questions about health and wellness topics. Those are scheduled to include:
- “Women Living with Arthritis” — Dr. Kenneth L. Cherry, orthopedic surgeon
- “Healthy Sleep Behaviors” — Dr. Mitch P. Kovacs, family medicine physician
- “Cancer Care: Preventive Screenings to Treatments” — Dr. James Vincent Lieb, oncologist and hematologist; Dr. Jack D. Schocker, radiation oncologist
Physician presentations will begin at 5:45 p.m., with the drawing at 7:15 p.m.
