State College police have identified the victim who fell to his death Thursday afternoon.

Police say 33-year-old Beau Rodger Griffis fell from a seventh floor balcony at about 2:55 p.m. Thursday.

It happened at the man’s apartment building in the 300 block of South Allen Street.

Witnesses told StateCollege.com they heard shouting from the victim’s balcony prior to the fall.

King said Thursday a preliminary investigation indicates there was no immediate indication of foul play.
