A Bellefonte candy shop will be closing its doors this weekend after nearly nine months in business.
Pappy Chuck’s Candy Shoppe, 125 W. Bishop St., will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday for its final days.
‘It is with great sadness that I must close Pappy Chuck’s Candy Shoppe,’ owner Chuck Kormanski wrote in a Facebook post.
Kormanski opened the shop in April, offering chocolates, jelly beans, a wide variety of nostalgic candies and soft-serve ice cream.
Ice cream will not be available on Friday and Saturday, but all candy will be buy one, get one free and all Christmas candy will be buy one, get two free.
All gift certificates and DollarSaver coupons will be honored, according to the Facebook post.
