Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders will hold a rally at Penn State’s Rec Hall on Tuesday, one week before voters go to the polls in Pennsylvania’s primary election.
Sanders is scheduled to speak at 7 p.m. with doors opening at 4 p.m., according to his campaign website. Individuals can register for free tickets to the public event here.
Bags will not be permitted inside the event and attendees are being asked to bring only small personal items such as keys and cell phones. Visitors arriving by vehicle are being asked to park in the Stadium West parking lot or Lot 44 on the east side of the Bryce Jordan Center and take the Loop or Link buses to Rec Hall.
The Vermont senator is the first presidential candidate to visit State College this year. He trails Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania by 16 points in the most recent average of polling data by RealClearPolitics.com.
