Happy Valley Improv is bringing back its spiciest event for a second round.

Six members of the longform improv company will bring the laughter while consuming spicy foods during “Improv Inferno” at 7 p.m. on Saturday at the Blue Brick Theatre.

The first iteration of “Improv Inferno” drew a sold-out crowd to the theater, located at 209 W. Calder Way in State College.

“We had such a blast last time around, we had to bring it back — and this time with a few twists,” Brenden Jeziorski, HVI company member and assistant business director, said.

The second round of the “Hot Ones”-inspired show will have a secret, surprise sauce along with an emcee who will also partake in the challenge.

Tickets can be purchases in advance online.

The special show continues a busy summer for Happy Valley Improv. The company wrapped up another successful XL Festival, which brought nearly 100 improvisers from around the country to the area in May, and hosted multiple shows at the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts, as well as a new set of family-friendly shows, regular classes, workshops, a weekly show at the theater and more.

“We’re always trying to bring something new to the local comedy community,” said Jeziorski, who helped bring the “Improv Inferno” concept to the theater and created merchandise that will be available for purchase at the show this weekend.
