Boalsburg Fire Company’s Memorial Day Carnival Kicks-Off Thursday

The Boalsburg Fire Company’s Memorial Day weekend carnival is set to kick-off Thursday evening at 6 p.m.

The popular annual event, which will be held on the fire company’s grounds, will run through Monday, Memorial Day.

This year visitors will be able to buy $13 wristbands allowing unlimited rides Thursday and Sunday evenings.

There will also be tons of food, including barbecue chicken, hot sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, french fries and other carnival favorites.

Bingo will be available in the “truck room” each day for 25-cents per double card.

Parade Day will be Saturday with line-up starting at 3:30 p.m. and step-off at 5 p.m., rain or shine.

“This is a great family event and sort of a homecoming for current and past residents of Boalsburg,” says Capt. Greg Alters.

Proceeds from the event help support the Boalsburg Fire Company.

Hours of operation:

Thursday – 6 to 10 p.m.

Friday – 6 to 10 p.m.

Saturday – 6 to 10 p.m.

Sunday – 2 to 6 p.m.

Monday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
