Centre County added one new case of COVID-19 on Friday, bringing its total to 151 since the first was reported on March 20.
The county has had 22 new cases of the virus in the past two weeks.
Statewide, Pennsylvania has had 70,735 COVID-19 cases, with 693 new positives reported by the Pennsylvania Department of Health on Friday. It was the 19th consecutive day the state has reported fewer than 1,000 new cases.
DOH estimates that 64 percent of patients with the virus — or about 45,978 Pennsylvanians — have recovered.
Of Pennsylvania’s total cases, 68,765 are confirmed and 1,970 are probable.
The state has had 5,464 deaths attributed to COVID-19, with 91 added to the count on Friday. Centre County has had six COVID-19 deaths, the most recent occurring on Wednesday.

Among Centre County’s bordering counties, Huntingdon now has 228 cases, Mifflin has 58, Union has 57, Clinton has 55, Blair has 49 and Clearfield has 38.
A total of 366,970 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19, including 2,045 people in Centre County. Across the state, 1,445 COVID-19 patients are hospitalized, with 298 requiring a ventilator, as of noon on Friday.
