State College 35, Central Dauphin 28

Dresyn Green scored State College’s first and last touchdowns to key the Little Lions to a win over Central Dauphin in Harrisburg. Green scored on a 62-yard screen pass from Tommy Friberg late in the first quarter and a 58-yard rush, breaking multiple tackles along the way, late in the fourth to seal the win.

State College (7-1) returns home next week to face Altoona.

Bellefonte 21, Central 12

Playing its homecoming game at Lock Haven while work on Rogers Stadium continues, Bellefonte rebounded from last week’s loss to Penns Valley. The Raiders fell behind 12-0, but late in the first half got in the end zone on a 1-yard rush by CJ Funk. A 7-yard touchdown pass from Ethan Rossman to Mason Grey late in the third put Bellefonte in front and Rossman added another short touchdown pass to Funk in the fourth.

Bellefonte (6-2) travels to Bishop Carroll next week.

Clearfield 42, Bald Eagle Area 7
Bald Eagle Area came into the week as Centre County’s lone remaining undefeated team, but fellow unbeaten Clearfield proved too much. Led by quarterback Isaac Rumery, the Bison jumped out to a 35-7 first half lead, while Eagles running back Gage McClenahan went down with an injury in the second quarter. A Bison TD with five minutes left in the third set a running clock for the rest of the game.

BEA (7-1) travels to Jersey Shore next week.

Penns Valley 42, Bishop Carroll 14

Bishop Carroll took a 14-13 lead into halftime, but Penns Valley roared back in the second half. The Rams scored 29 unanswered second half points — 13 in third and 16 in the fourth — to take a decisive home victory.

Penns Valley (5-3) hosts Tyrone next week.

Huntingdon 60, Philipsburg-Osceola 7

Coming off its first win of the season last week, Philpsburg-Osceola took a 7-6 first quarter lead at home against Huntingdon, but it would be all Bearcats from there. Huntingdon score 19 in the second quarter and poured on 35 more in the second half to leave with the win.

P-O (1-7) travels to undefeated Clearfield next week.
