And, for the 10th year your gift to CVIM, made before Dec. 31 will have double the impact thanks to Lance and Ellen Shaner. The Shaner’s will match your donation dollar for dollar up to the first $50,000.
Tax deductible gifts have a profound impact on area residents who depend on CVIM for health care services.
One hundred percent of funds raised will remain in Centre County to provide medical and dental service, case management and medication assistance to individuals who have no insurance coverage.
More than 80 percent of CVIM patients work, many holding multiple jobs and have to make the difficult choices of paying rent, buying food, medicines or health care. Many volunteers, professional volunteers and a small paid staff provide care and comfort to these people.
