More big name musical acts have been announced for the inaugural Karoondinha Music & Arts Festival at Penn’s Cave and Wildlife Park in Centre Hall.

The festival announced its full lineup on Tuesday, adding Chance the Rapper, Paramore, Sturgill Simpson and others to a slate that already included John Legend, Odesza, The Roots, Chromeo, Alessia Cara, X Ambassadors and more.

DNCE, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis and Young the Giant are among the other additional acts announced Tuesday. Several local acts are also on the bill.

The multi-stage camping festival is the work of sister and brother Kaleena and Paul Rallis, who grew up working at Penn’s Cave, their family’s business. The siblings have worked in the entertainment industry for the past decade and wanted to create a destination event for the region, according to a release.

In addition to the music, the festival will offer cave, wildlife, and off-roading tours, along with art installations, daily workshops and gourmet food on the 1600-acre cave and park grounds. A kickoff party will be held the night of Thursday, July 20

The festival takes its name from what the Seneca tribe called Penns Valley and the Penn’s Cave area — Karoondinha (pronounced ka-roon-din-ha) meaning ‘the land of shining waters.’

The Karoondinha Festival will partner with two local nonprofit organizations, Wildlife for Everyone, The Bestwick Foundation and Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. Wildlife for Everyone supports wildlife habitats, scientific research and education, youth education and land preservation. The Bestwick Foundation distributes funds to local families who are struggling to fight cancer and other hardships. The Central Pennsylvania Food Bank distributes more than 48 million pounds of food and grocery products, equivalent to more than 40 million meals, every year to more than 900 soup kitchens, shelters, and food pantries in 27 central Pennsylvania counties.

General Admission and VIP Passes are on sale at www.karoondinha.com. General admission three-day Passes are currently $279 plus fees and VIP three-day passes are currently $649 plus fees. Payment plan options are available.
