Chelsea Clinton, daughter of presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, will be in State College on Wednesday to speak on behalf of her mother’s campaign.
Neither Chelsea nor her mother are strangers to Penn State or State College. Both women made a stop in Happy Valley during Hillary’s 2008 presidential run and Hillary’s dad and brother both attended Penn State. And how can you mention a Clinton and Penn State without bringing up Bill’s famous two-flavor cone at the Creamery?
This will be Chelsea’s first public appearance since the Democratic National Convention in Philly. She’ll be heading to the State College Democratic Headquarters on Foster Ave. when she arrives around 4:45 p.m. The event will be a phone bank, which will take place from 4-6 p.m. You can RSVP here.
Clinton is expected to discuss voter registration, which is particularly important in college communities like Penn State.
