St. Mark Lutheran Church in Howard and St. Mark Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pleasant Gap will host an online Blessing of Pets and Animals at 7 p.m. Sunday, October 4. The service can be seen on Facebook Live on the St. Mark Lutheran Church Snydertown Facebook page.
The service is held on the day when churches are honoring St. Francis of Assisi, who celebrated all of God’s creation.
Regardless of religious affiliation, all are invited to watch the service and have their pets with them to be blessed. Between now and the service, all also are invited to post photos of their pets on the Facebook Event page and share a little about them.
